Mowelfund Summer Photography Workshop
1999 marks the 8th summer Mowelfund has offered the Basic Photography course to aspiring Filipino photographers,  interested in mastering the artform for hobby or business.  Due to the absence of a formal photography school in the Philippines, Mowelfund summer workshops have been a prime mover in developing young talents in the field of photography.

The summer workshop, spanning a period of six weeks, covers the fundamentals of photography: camera handling, composition, creative lighting techniques, film developing, print developing and photography critique. The student learns the basics; through classroom lectures and through hands-on experience during the pictorials and inside the darkroom. Guided by respected and master photographers, the course is crafted to meet the needs of the individual artist.

At the end of the course, each student is required to submit at least 4 mounted 8X10 prints (2 black & white and 2 colored) that he or she shot, developed and printed.

You may contact Mowelfund at telephone nos. (632)722-8627 and 722-8624.
